Jessica Oye-Trautloff, Psy.D, PMH-C
Dr. Oye-Trautloff received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University in Long Beach and later, her Master’s degree in General Psychology from Capella University. She pursued further training at the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center in San Diego and earned a certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Due to her growing interest in maternal mental health, as well as her own personal experiences, she earned her Perinatal Mental Health Certification in 2023. Over the years, her clinical experiences have ranged from working with young children in private practice to working with older adults in an Intensive Outpatient Program at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital. Her experiences also included working in crisis houses, hospital settings, and in residential treatment for adults and teenagers struggling with dual diagnoses and disordered eating.
The majority of her patients are adolescents through older adults. Patients seen often struggle with depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, LGBTQIA+ related difficulties, trauma, identity, and other multicultural issues. Dr. Oye-Trautloff has a passion for working within the maternal mental health community. She works closely with patients struggling with the adjustment and identity of parenthood, grief and loss, labor and birth trauma, and infertility. Living in the beautiful city of San Diego has also allowed her the opportunity and privilege to work with active military service members, dependents, and veterans for which she has continued to be passionate in serving.
